Chris Brown
Chris is the broker/owner of CB Investments, having started the company in 1996. His greatest source of business pride is making clients happy beyond expectations, which he hopes leads to referral business from every client he comes across. With 23 years total in the mortgage business, he has accumulated a wealth of experience, which adds great value to his clientele.
Chris received his BS from University of Colorado- Boulder (CU) in 1989. He received an MBA in business administration from the University of Southern California (USC), graduating with honors in 1998. As a side note, he did his graduate studies through the USC evening program, while heading CB Investments, where he met his lovely wife, Sharon.
Chris and Sharon have 4 beautiful children (2 boys, 2 girls). Chris is a devoted father, who is actively involved in coaching his kids’ various sports’ pursuits and watching his daughters perform. He also loves traveling and great food, but with 4 kids and work, that has partially been put on the “back burner” for a few years!
Debi Elliott
Debi Elliott is the operations manager of CB Investments. In this capacity, Debi manages the loan underwriting process, interfacing with investors, 3rd party vendors, and clients. In addition to this, she serves as the escrow officer for CB Investments’ Escrow Division. She also is a licensed loan officer and notary public. Prior to joining CB Investments 6 years ago, she spent over 20 years in corporate finance as a controller and has extensive experience in financial analysis. Her attention to detail makes her a strong asset to our clients and to CB Investments. She holds a BS degree in finance from Cal State- Long Beach (CSULB) and an MBA from Pepperdine University, graduating with honors in 1995.
